50 Megapixel camera tips up

If you have to ask how much it costs, you can't afford it

You might think your eight Megapixel digital camera is pretty slinky, but imagine the bragging rights if you got a new Hasselblad H3DII-50, which has a staggering 50 Megapixel resolution.
The camera uses a Kodak 36×48mm sensor, which is roughly twice the size of the largest 35mm DSLR sensors and comes with its own cooling system.
Although the high-end camera maker is being coy about exactly how much this monster will cost when it tips up in October, you can perhaps make an educated guess from the company's introductory offer - purchase the current top-of-the-range H3DII-39, which has a pathetic 39 Megapixel resolution, together with an 80mm lens for a meagre $33,995 before September 30 and you can get an additional lens of your choice for the bargain price of just $2,500.
You can then upgrade your H3DII-39 to the new H3DII-50 at a cost equal to the difference in list price.
Think how impressed your friends down the pub will be and try to imagine your wife's reaction when you tell her you've traded in the car as a down payment. X
