Scottish based Voice Stream picked up three quarters equity in Helios Outsourcing, which is based in Chennai.

The Economic Times said Helios, which is a private company, is already a major supplier to Voice Stream.

The newspaper quoted managing director Paul Kopec as saying that small and medium sized businesses are more interested in outsourcing and Voice Stream wanted to lever that business.

Helios is set up to provide both consultancy and call centre expertise to small and medium sized businesses. X
