Before you start imagining yourself inside a Lamborghini preparing to go out for an evening of fine dining with a supermodel in the passenger seat, wait a minute because Asus-Lamborghini VX3 is a notebook. If your salary doesn’t support your desire to pay the price of Lamborghini supercar, you can at least go some way to fulfilling your dream with a high-end luxury laptop.

This limited edition range apparently brings the style and design excellence of a thoroughbred Lamborghini to a high-end Asus notebook. The Asus-Lamborghini VX notebook series runs on Intel’s next generation Penryn-based Core 2 Duo CPU with 45-nanometer process. The VX3 includes a 12.1-inch wide screen and an integrated high-resolution webcam. It is said to offer a better battery life. However, details of the increased life span remain a mystery.

The Lamborghini VX3 is now out in India, targeting high flying business executives. Not long ago, the idea of launching such luxury products in India would have been tagged madness. Today with the rapid change in mindset and taste of Indian consumers companies are confident about selling the concept of luxury in India.

Of course, a Jaguar-branded laptop would be more apposite in the light of Tata's acquisition of the luxury brand from Ford... X
