AMD talks Game Ready !!!!! - No Asset Light news

Chip firm AMD held a shindig at its fab in Dresden but didn't mention anything about 'asset light' - instead it forecast a channel initiative.

According to South African web site IT-Online, AMD Game! is for the distribution and reseller market and will include software dubbed Game! Ready. So many exclamation marks.

The scheme appears to be a way for AMD's channel to rebadge system builds and stick on their own logos. The initiative will start in June in the European area, but will kick off first in North America - next week.
