Telecom equipment provider Alcatel, having won a $500million deal for managed network services with Reliance Communication (RCOM), is expected to close two more deals in the next three months, each worth between $250 million and $500 million.

Vivek Mohan, CEO of Alcatel, has confirmed that the company is in talks with two established telecom operators, both wireless and wire line for managed services.

However, it is still not clear whether Alcatel will provide services on a contract basis or will form a joint venture with these companies. “We are yet to finalise the model but we should be able to come out with it in next three months,” said Vivek. X
