Eeeeee....k

Chip firm AMD is not to be undone as Intel and Via battle it out for designer wins for ultramobiles, MIDs, PIDs, call them what you will.

The INQUIRER.net reports that Red Fox and AMD have introduced something called the 'Wizbook', aimed at the rather successful Asus Eee machine.

It's a little bit bigger than an Eee, the wire said, but then it's got a larger LCD screen, a PC card slot and a claimed battery life twice as long as an Eee. And it runs the Linux OS as well as using a conventional hard drive. X
