The company also announced its expansion plans and strategic growth initiatives for the coming year. The new office in Kakinadu is designed to meet growing customer demand for the company’s services through its subsidiary Avineon India Private, Ltd. (AIPL).
The Minister of State for the Government of India, M M Pallam Raju, said that the new service centre in India provided easy access to the city’s modern technical infrastructure and the best technology staff from nearby universities.
The Kakinadu centre joins Avineon's existing AIPL offices in Hyderabad, with an office in Vizag planned within the next year.
Subbarao Rambhala, executive vice president of Avineon India, will direct the Kakinada office, and plans to employ 120 staff by the end of this year. Karlu Rambhala, president and CEO of Avineon, said that having Indian locations that can directly supply programming and development services has provided a significant advantage over other companies that outsource such functions.
