The world’s biggest retailer, Wal-mart is planning to set up its IT back office in India’s tech capital, Banagalore. This move totes a potential of creating 100s of jobs, sources reported to The Economic Times.

The $388-billion, Wal-mart has outsourcing ties with IT vendors like Infosys for developing a captive shared service center for catering its worldwide operations.

Sources said the company has more or less zeroed on Bangalore after looking other potential locations. However, the final call is still to be taken, the alleged news will surely relegate unemployment worries thousands are swearing upon, seeing MNC’s copping jobs at a “fast and furious pace”. X
