Benq has launched its 14.1-inch widescreen S41 Joybook in India.

This new laptop offers a fast response time of 16ms, and features a 1.3 built-in megapixel QEye webcam. The S41 Joybook has an internal microphone with noise suppression, echo cancellation function and 1.5W speakers supported by SRS TruSurround XT technology, which the company claims gives cinema-class audio performance. Users can opt for wireless WAN connection, 802.11 a/b/g/n wireless LAN and built-in Bluetooth 2.0.

The machine is also compatible with Nvidia GeForce 8600M GS graphic chipset, has 1GB of turbo cache support, and includes Nvidia Pure Video HD technology, HDMI output, high-definition digital video of up to 1080p resolution, supporting high bandwidth, and offering uncompressed digital audio playback.

The S41 joybook is avaialble in India now, priced at Rs 47,000 ($1,095.570). X
