BharatMatrimony.com, India’s top matrimony site has introduced its services on Airtel Live, India’s largest WAP portal.

Airtel subscribers with GPRS enabled handsets can now avail themselves of matrimony services, with subscription charge of Rs 20 per week. The subscribers will be entitled to view unlimited profiles and can access two contacts free of charge. With over 12 million existing registered members, it seems to be quite an appropriate deal to enhance its reach by connecting to over 77 million Airtel customers. Murugavel Janakiraman, Founder and CEO, Consim Info said, ‘We have been working with the Airtel team for almost six months to understand their customers’ needs and deliver a product that would have appeal and hence drive adoption. Another interesting feature is that we have integrated this with our web offering, thus allowing both sets of customers to seamlessly interact across mediums.’
