Chinese state run television finds P2P useful. - Peer to peer, not closed circuit TV. Honest

CCTV, China Central Television, is the authorized internet broadcaster for the 2008 Olympics in China.

It has partnered with PPLive to stream the online video to millions during the Olympics. With a current audience of 35 million people each month it expects to expand its audience during the Olympics.

CCTV does not have a working model of P2P technology and so it partnered with PPLive for that technology. Maybe a partnership that will last beyond the Olympics? Thanks to Afterdawn. X
