Network giant Cisco said that it has appointed R. Dhamodaram as a senior vice president for its channel operations in India.

Dhamodaram will report directly to Cisco country manager Naresh Wadhwa, and comes from IBM India, where he was director of software alliances in the Asia Pacific region. His job at IBM was to grow Big Blue's Indian channels including dealing with the ISVs (independent software vendors) for IBM Software. X
