Committee aims to find new TRAI chairman

If at first you don't succeed, Trai, Trai again

The government is on the lookout for a replacement for the current chairman of Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), Nripendra Misra, who is expected to leave the office by the beginning of next year.

Economic Times says the centre has formed a committee for this purpose. It is headed by cabinet secretary KM Chandrasekhar, and includes the principal secretary to the prime minister TKA Nair, DoT secretary Siddhartha Behura and representatives from the Department of personnel and Training, along with other members. X
