An Israeli startup firm called Lucid Logix claims its parallel graphics technology will load balance graphics processing on PCs and speed up performance.

The technology, called Hydra, uses a system on a chip coupled with software that will improve performance to above linear performance when you use two, three or even more graphics cards.

The firm said it's already working with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), original design manufacturers (ODMs) and PC companies using the chip.

Said Offir Remez, the firm's president: 'We're currently focusing our Hydra engine on improving everyday PC performance.' Venture firms behind the venture include Intel Capital, Genesis Partners, and Giza Venture Capital. X
