Haier collaborates with BSNL to venture in to East India region

Haier Mobile has introduced three GSM phones, of which one will be available exclusively in the East India region, reports IndiaPRwire.

Haier, in partnership with BSNL, has launched its sleek mobile phone "Wow" in Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa, West Bengal, Kolkata, Assam and North East (BSNL circles one and two). The other two - "Twinn" and "Double" - are Active Double GSM phones.

The Wow colour FM phone features FM on loudspeaker, and has a phone book memory capacity of three numbers each for 500 contacts. Apart from FM alarm and recording, it also has GPRS facility and long battery life. It is economically priced at Rs 1,699 ($36.60). X
