HCL Infosystems has reported consolidated revenue of Rs 3125.8 crore ($626 million) for the quarter ended 30 September 2008.
Profit after tax for the quarter was Rs 66.1 crore ($13.2 million). The company has declared a 100 per cent quarterly dividend in the last 14 quarters. Consolidated services revenue for the quarter was Rs 142.1 crore ($28.4 million), a growth of 47 per cent over the corresponding quarter in the previous year.
Revenue from computer systems business for the quarter was Rs 875.9 crore ($175.3 million) as against Rs 761.4 crore ($152.4 million) in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, a growth of 15 per cent. Profit before interest and taxes for computer systems business for the quarter was Rs 47.6 crore ($9.5 million). Revenue from telecommunication and office automation business for the quarter was Rs 2257.1 crore ($452 million).
Ajai Chowdhry, Chairman and CEO of HCL Infosystems said that its hardware, distribution and system integration businesses would provide resilience to the organisation. He added that the company had built its system integration capabilities and had grown the business in diverse sectors, which would help in steady growth. X
