Ink maker Hewlett Packard said it has introduced 16 notebooks some of which use AMD and some Intel microprocessors.
The notebooks are aimed at retail markets and at business markets and several come with the option of using its Illumilite displays which are more lighter and energy efficient than standard displays, HP claims, and don't use mercury.
The premium business model HP has launched is the Elitebook which has an aluminium case and a magnesium alloy chassis. This, euologises HP, is built for the 'corporate road warrior', weighing in at 2.1 kilogrammes, and with a 14.1-inch display. The Elitebook 6930p has a claimed battery life of 15 hours with an 'optional' ultra capacity battery.
The 'b' series of notebooks comes with a choice of AMD or Intel CPUs, and in 14.1-inch or 15.4-inch screens, while the 's' series is a more robust sort of notebook, presumably built for the 'corporate road plodder'.
HP also announced a refresh of the Voodoo gaming machines, and a monitor, as well as other stuff. X |
