Six Indian cities are among the top eight outsourcing hubs in the world, according to a new study. But as India’s growth as the major global IT and BPO outsourcing destination continues, neighbouring China is determined to givethe country a run for its money.

The study by Global Services lists Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi-NCR, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Pune in the top eight outsourcing cities of the world, with Dublin in Ireland and Mataki City in the Philippines taking the other two places. It says China is the dominating force in the list of emerging cities for global outsourcing, with Shanghai and Beijing growing fast, along with Cebu City in the Philippines.
