Intel lets slip the dogs of bore

Yet another innocent company savaged by legal rottweilers

By C Shanti @ Tuesday, July 22, 2008 2:21 PM

Slavering lawyers at Intel have started the 963rd legal action against a firm in a California district court daring to use two vowels and three consonants from the English alphabet. The lawsuit follows a now well trodden path.

Intel claims that Barry Hood's firm, Intellectric, is infringing on its crown jewels - to wit the letters 'i', 'n', 't', 'e' and 'l'.

Intellectric offers electrical services. Intel makes microprocessors which as the world+dog knows are the brains of a computer.
Basically, Intel is likely to win this one because we suspect Barry hasn't as many pleaders as the chip firm. X
