Isoft, an IBA Health Group Company, which provides software’s for medical institutes, today announced the opening of its, state-of-art, global product development Centre in Bangalore. The new center will double company’s workforce.

Commenting on the new facility, Mr. Gary Cohen, Executive Chairman and CEO, Isoft, said: “Isoft’s increasing success in our chosen markets has necessitated a strong and robust growth strategy throughout the product business. The continuing expansion of our dedicated offshore development operations gives us a major competitive advantage in bringing leading edge technology solutions to market with unprecedented speed, acting also as a hub for the creation of next generation products.”

“Most international companies develop only a part of their product lifecycle in India, but Isoft is committed to offer multi-skilled Indian specialists to work on end-to-end product development from technology and architecture to coding and release”, claims the company.

The new set up boasts a demo that simulates a patient walkthrough across multiple departments of a typical hospital which has 350 employees. The company plans to hire 100 more in next four months. Company’s total workforce in India, with its two set-ups is 1,800

With this introduction, the company’s project investment in India amounts to $200 million. The reason behind such huge investment in healthcare IT, lies in the fact that investment in healthcare IT, in countries like UK, US and Australia is growing considerably at a CAGR (compound annual growth rate) of 11%. The centre missed the inaugural hands of Karnataka’s IT minister Shri. Katta Subramanya Naidu, but his wishes through fax came in early.  X
