Campus Management Corp of New-York based Leeds Equity partners has taken over the CRM business division of Talisma. Talisma provides software in Customer Interaction Management (CIM) domain.

Watch our exclusive video coverage here.

Leeds Equity Partners is a private equity firm that focuses on investments in the education, training and information and business services industries.

Leeds provided the Florida enterprise software provider, Campus Management with funding to acquire the Talisma CRM software product, and Talisma Higher Education, a business unit based in Bellevue, WA,  from Texas based Genera Corporation. Five months back, Texas based Genera Corporation took over both CIM and CRM businesses.

The companies involved are privately held and hence terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Under the arrangement, Talisma will continue to develop, sell and support Talisma CRM, and re-sell and support Talisma’s knowledgebase software.  Genera have acquired Talisma CIM (Customer Interaction Management) software under the nGenera name.  In effect, customers using Talisma CRM software will now be served by Campus Management, while nGenera continues to serve and expand its CIM line of business.

The Talisma Managing director (Asia-Pacific), Raj Mruthyunjayappa, said “The CRM business has been acquired by Leeds. This is a positive thing for Talisma India, especially the CRM business. This also us gives financial muscle power to continue to grow in different verticals”.

The President and CEO of Campus Management Corp, Timothy B. Loomer said ““Talisma’s robust and proven suite complements and will advance our software solutions program”. Loomer added ,“The acquisition is a logical way for Campus Management to expand our ecosystem of solutions, and to build our capacity to develop, market and deliver more innovations to our customers”.

Brad Whitman, Managing Director of Leeds Equity Partners, commented that “Talisma CRM is a strong platform that will help accelerate Campus Management’s growth of its CRM program”.

Talisma President and CEO, Dan Vetras said, “We are happy to say that campus management was suitor of choice….It’s a win-win-win for everybody for Genera, Talisma and Campus management”. X
