Lenovo India appoints new vice president

Ramprasad Lakshminarayanan to handle transactional consumer sales

Lenovo today announced the appointment of Ramprasad Lakshminarayanan as vice president of transactional consumer sales for India.

Lakshminarayanan will be responsible for the management and growth of Lenovo’s channel business. He will lead the business development of Lenovo’s consumer brand PCs, IdeaPad and IdeaCentre, and develop the consumer sales network across the country.

Amar Babu, managing director of Lenovo India said: “Ramprasad brings with him almost two decades of rich experience in the transactional business space. His commitment to grow and foster channel partnerships will be of immense value to Lenovo as we aim to grow our consumer PC business by penetrating cities and towns across India.”

Prior to joining Lenovo, Ramprasad was associate vice president at HCL Infosystems. X
