Lenovo introduces another laptop for India

And it can recognise your face

Lenovo has introduced the Ideapad Y710 consumer range of notebook PCs in India.

The notebooks come with a 17inch monitor, with1440x900 resolution using a ATI Radeon Mobility HD 2600 with 512 MB for graphics.

The Y710 has WLAN connectivity and an optional blu-ray DVD reader. It also has a 1.3 megapixel camera with face-recognition ability.
 
Equipped with a 320GB hard drive spinning at 5,400rpm, Y710 includes a performance control switch with Turbo mode for maximum power, which includes CPU overclocking and a quiet mode, for saving energy.

The range is available in all Lenovo authorized stores, with prices ranging from Rs.45,000 ($1,059) to 85,000 ($2000). X
