Mastek gets a makeover

Spends $1 million on rebranding

By Examiner Staff @ Wednesday, July 30, 2008 10:22 AM

Mastek is changing its logo and identity. The Economics Times quotes Sudhakar Ram, chairman and group CEO, saying that the company will now launch a marketing campaign in the US and UK to make customers aware of its new identity.

Even though Mastek improved its performance during mid-2008 with a 34 per cent rise in income to Rs 250 crore and net profit growth of 63 per cent to Rs 39 crore, the firm intends to spend about $1 million to publicise its new brand. The new logo, a prism, is intended to represent Mastek's ability to take clients' ideas and give life to them. The rebranding was undertaken by Red Palm Branding, a specialist brand consulting firm.
