By Examiner Staff @ Friday, August 01, 2008 9:42 AM

A case started in a Texas district court, with a firm called Stragent suing a number of more illustrious names over a patent.

The defendants named in the case are Nokia, Motorola, Palm, Research in Motion (RIM), Sony Ericsson, AOL, AT&T, Google, Microsoft and Yahoo.

Stragent claims the defendants have infringed its patent 6,665,722, called 'Store and forward packet radion system and method'.

The firm wants the big firms to cough up money for allegedly infringing the patent. X
