Microsoft's 'Halo Wars' sells one millionth game

'Halo Wars' takes players on perilous journey through 'Halo' universe

 Microsoft has sold more than one million units of 'Halo Wars' worldwide, making the exclusive Xbox 360 title the best selling real-time strategy game.

With a control scheme designed for the Xbox 360 controller, 'Halo Wars' is breaking ground for the strategy genre by introducing a new wave of fans to strategy games.

Set in the year 2525, 'Halo Wars' takes players on a perilous journey through the 'Halo' universe. Microsoft is working with partners and newly formed studio Robot Entertainment, which comprises 'Halo Wars' and 'Age of Empires' veterans from Ensemble Studios.More Halo Wars content is being prepared.

'Halo Wars' is rated 16+ PEGI and is available worldwide. Xbox 360 is a premier video game and entertainment system and its digital centre blends content, including personal pictures and music, with a unified online social network. X
