San Francisco - Mycrm GMBH has introduced a new connector that allows Sugarcrm to link with Dimdim's web conferencing platform.
"Dimdim's open source and SaaS strategy continue to focus on democratising Web conferencing with a platform that is easy to use, open and affordable for everyone," explained Dimdim CEO DD Ganguly. "By integrating Dimdim with Sugarcrm, we help provide customers with a seamless way to host Dimdim sessions and conduct CRM functions directly, without needless downloads."
Paul Oh, VP of technology alliances at Sugarcrm, expressed similiar sentiments.
"We are delighted to be collaborating with Mycrm and Dimdim to provide our customers with the best open source solution for web meetings," said Oh. "Now our users have access to a CRM and web conference solution that requires no software to download for attendees."
According to Sugarcrm, the recently unveiled browser-based connector faciliates "instant interaction" across multiple geographies while simultaneously recording all related activity.
The installation process, which takes less than a minute, is executed via an intuitive Sugar administration interface. Users can then initialise Dimdim with a simple click and change or schedule web conferences from within the Sugar meeting module.
Dimdim Web Meeting service is available in open source, professional and commercial enterprise editions. The solution offers native support for desktop sharing, video conferencing, public chat, multiple presentations and instant feedback. X |
