Launches VAD Remarketer Program

Oracle has launched its Value Added Distributor (VAD) Remarketer Program for new resellers.

The programe enables Oracle’s distributor, Tech Pacific, to resell Oracle technology products through its network of resellers throughout India, without requiring the resellers to join the Oracle Partner Network (OPN). It helps resellers to start selling Oracle products to their customers without having to make up-front financial investments to build an Oracle practice, and lets them use Tech Pacific for support, training and other reseller services.

Sanjay Achawal, director of Tech Pacific's enterprise business group, said, "The key feature of the Oracle VAD Remarketer Program is that it eliminates start-up costs and makes Oracle products easily accessible. We are confident that our partners would be excited, as they would see great opportunity to engage in this business. This would help them offer a variety of Oracle-based solutions to customers, which was not feasible earlier."

Sukhdeep Singh, senior director of distribution and commercial channel sales for Oracle Asia Pacific said, "Channel partners are a vital extension of our sales ecosystem. In Asia Pacific, approximately 80 per cent of our business is managed by our partner community." X
