Eyes eye-spot

By Harsha Pramod @ Wednesday, June 18, 2008 11:11 AM

Pyro Networks has acquired Mumbai-based BKP consultants. BKP’s eye-spot is a major asset in the acquisition and the company has not revealed the amount involved. Eye-spot is an integrated and automated network approach to radio frequency optimisation and planning.

Eye-spot tracks quality, revenue, problems and forecasting in networks. This includes live reports, GIS capabilities, trends and history, to help manage network issues effectively.

Eye-spot provides comprehensive performance data from the perspective of network level to the cell level. It provides the same at trunk level, and handles network component additions automatically. The platform links drive test data, OSS data and configuration data of various network components at local or remote sites. It is capable of automatic data collection, parsing, processing and administration.

Eye-spot is used by wireless carriers such as Vodafone, BSNL, Airtel, and Reliance. Pyro hopes to offer the platform to carriers and infrastructure providers globally. X
