In the 25th homicide in Rochester this year, police are applying new technologies to trace the killer, reported the News 10NBC.

On Saturday night, a Rochester man Shawndale Walters (32) was shot dead. Police were on the look out for the suspect who shot Walters in the chest, just after 10:30pm, amidst number of witnesses. Police believe that dispute between Walters and the gunman could have led to this untoward incident. Police are questioning the witnesses and also requesting to call 911, in case if anyone knows anything regarding the incident.

The police for the first time, will make use of  a 3-D laser scanner, which takes 3-D pictures of the crime from every angle. The Rochester Police Department acquired the scanner on loan from the A&E Television Network as part of the agreement to take part in the reality show ‘Crime 360’.  X
