Satyam Computer Services is partnering with US software maker K2 to provide end-to-end business process management (BPM) on Microsoft platforms.

The two companies will work together on marketing to promote software adoption and sales. Sriram Krishnan, head of content and process management at Satyam, said that the combination of K2’s workflow and BPM products and Satyam’s BPM consulting and implementation services will be targeted at a range of industries, including energy, finance, healthcare, manufacturing, telecommunications and insurance.

Satyam will develop a Center of Excellence (CoE) in Chennai, India, next year, to ensure timely support, delivery and governance of K2-based solutions. Professionals at the facility will develop frameworks and methodology using K2’s Smart Object technology. X
