A Scotsman has a dream of establishing Scotland as an information technology hub and create an outsourcing business that will rival Bangalore's.

According to the Deccan Herald, Andrew Rigby wants to create a concept called Scottish Bangalore and start a think tank to see what needs to be done.

That will involve Scottish government officials and other agencies which will create a coordinated approach to concentrate on outsourcing rather than call centre business.

Scotland already has a thriving call centre business. Rigby wants the country to move to the far more lucrative business of the type they do in Bangalore. X
