Second terror mail threatens attack on BSE, Airport

No specific mention of BSE, says IB officials

The audacious Deccan Mujahideen group of terrorists has sent out yet another terror mail to a Gujrati TV channel reminding the security agencies about their horrifying motives.

This time, the Internet protocol (IP) address has been traced to Saudi Arabia. Sources said that the mail threatens to blow up Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), one of New Delhi’s airports, schools, colleges and public places like multiplexes.

However, after closely studying the mail, Intelligence Bureau (IB) officials said that there is no specific mention of BSE or any other building. BSE could be one definite target.

Declining any Pakistani connection, the second mail claims that ‘Deccan Mujahideen’ is a Hyderabad based terrorist outfit.

However, one more development came up in IB’s investigations on the first mail. The investigations carried out by IB now reveal that mail was actually generated from Pakistan. Earlier, it was believed that the mail was traced to Russia.

The extent of audacity shown by these terrorists sends out a big challenge to Indian intelligence.

Meanwhile, Gujarat has beefed up security across the state fearing an attack. All public places have been under close vigilance.

It is still unknown which language was actually used in the second mail.

SIM Cards
Intelligence sources have come up with latest leads from Mumbai attack investigations. They have reportedly intercepted telephonic conversation between Lashkar-e-Taeyba (LeT)operations chief,  Muzammil and some Yahya in Bangladesh.

The SIM cards and fake ID Cards were arranged by Yahya from Mauritius, UK, US, Australia.

Earlier, the call records in a satellite phone found on the MV Kuber were traced to training LeT chief, Zakir Ur Rehman in Jalalabad.

Terrorists used Google Maps to prepare a layout and be through with the areas it attacked. X
