San Francisco - Sugarcrm has launched an authorised learning programme (ALP) to accelerate the adoption of CRM "best practices" across its global customer base.

Charter members of the programme include Levementum and Plus Consulting in North America, Izeno and Bhea Knowledge Technologies in Asia and Redpill-Linpro in Europe.

"The authorised learning programe matches the Sugarcrm global customer base with the partner and training resources that will ensure they get the most out of their deployments," Andy Dreisch, VP of worldwide services at Sugarcrm told IT Examiner. "Quality training by experienced instructors is a primary driver of CRM success. The programme provides a structured methodology for Sugar experts to deliver the educational services that (promote) CRM adoption and (progress)."

Authorised learning partners are slated to receive official course materials designed by Sugarcrm, along with unrestricted access to an online training lab for their students. Participants will also be encouraged to take part in a training opportunity referral framework with Sugar customers in their respective regions.

Doug Guilbeau, managing director of consulting operations at Levementum, explained that successful CRM adoption required a well formulated programme supervised by qualified instructors. "Sugar's ALP ensures quality training is available to all customers," said Guilbeau. "We are excited to join Sugarcrm's efforts to expand customer access to the great learning tools provided by the programme."
Kristian af Sandeberg, product manager for SugarCRM at Redpill-Linpro, agreed:

"Redpill-Linpro has been working successfully with SugarCRM implementations in Europe for the past four years. To become a charter member of the Sugar authorised learning programme is a recognition of our accomplishments as well as an opportunity to strengthen our training capabilities for new and existing customers," said Kristian.
