Third party board maker Supermicro said it is showing off two motherboards at the Computex show which use Intel's Eaglelake G45 and G43 Express chipsets.
The boards, dubbed the C2SEA and C2SEE are aimed at the workstation market and support 45 nanometre quad core chips and DDR3. They also include support for Blu-Ray and HD DVD, anve a PCI-Express 2 slot for graphics cards, six Serial ATA ports, 12 USB ports, and a Gigabit LAN port.
DDR3 up to 8GB of memory can be added while the boards also have support for four legacy 32-bit PCI slots. The ATX boards include Super Doctor III management software. X |
