Section - Telecoms/Mobile | | | | Tejas Networks, a telecom infrastructure provider, will launch a new carrier Ethernet product TJ 2000 in India in October this year, reported the Economic Times.
Tejas hopes to bring down capital and operational expenses of telecom companies by offering easy scalability and service management options.
According to Tejas, the advent of internet protocol television in India may boost the requirement for TJ 2000 as it is ideal for multicasting, a combination of telecasting and broadcasting. Tejas also plans to strengthen its presence in Southeast Asia and China and to reduce its dependency on the Indian market. X | |
