Terrorists "targeted US" with Bangalore blasts

Eight bombs exploded, one woman died

Further details have emerged about the 'low intensity' grenades that set Bengaluru into a panic Friday.

We reported on this earlier today, from Bengaluru.

According to the Times of India, a total of eight bombs went off. One woman at a bus stop was killed, and her husband was grievously maimed.

Nuts and bolts were incorporated into the crude devices, and the intelligence services are blaming Islamic terrorist groups, said The Times.

The paper claimed Bangalore and Hyderabad - both very tolerant cities - were being targeted because it makes America panic. Bangalore is a city of seven million people, and the bombs threw the city into chaos on Friday, as people rushed to get home. X
