USA helps India wed - Shaadi Karoge launches matrimonial service

Shaadi Karoge, a Delaware, US-based, online matrimonial service provider, has announced a strategic alliance with 3i Infotech, an Indian software product and IT service provider company. The alliance is intended to provide matrimonial services in various parts of India.

The proposed agreement will allow 3i to offer online matrimonial services in the Indian market through thousands of E-disha Common Service Centres based in urban and rural areas of India.

Though the company claims the move will benefit villagers across the country and will aid the growth of the internet in the country, this sounds a touch optimistic, seeing the medieval status quo of communication in rural India. Nevertheless, the proposed alliance would surely make Shaadi Karoge the only company in the world to have such a large network of matrimonial registration help centres. X
