Technology solutions provider, IDenizen Smartware has announced a collaboration with Corporation Bank, to offer modern banking and Visa debit cards, Smart Campus, to aid students’ financial transactions. That is to help them spend money,

This card stands out as the only Visa-branded Radio-frequency identification (RFID) campus card, and allows  transactions across the country, through more than 1,000 branches and ATMs of Corporation Bank and via the internet. With SmartCampus being a Visa card, the card holder can also access more than 25,000 other ATMs.

Commenting on the partnership, Girish Baliga, Founder, MD & CEO, IDenizen said: "With this, we envisage completely cashless transactions within the campus, easing the lives of both parents and students. An added benefit is that they can use these cards outside campuses that brings a host of value-added facilities." Having successfully tested the Smart Campus card in various professional colleges in the state of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat, IDenizen and Corporation Bank intend to have more than a million student users in the coming three years.
