Wipro Infotech, the India and Middle East IT Business of Wipro today launched Wipro Disaster Recovery Assurance Services.

The Disaster Recovery Assurance service is designed to achieve faster disaster recovery (DR) through visibility into recovery metrics and automation of the DR workflows and processes, claims Wipro.

When DR processes are not automated, it requires constant manual intervention and significant time and effort to ensure that the DR setup is efficient and will meet the desired recovery objectives at the time of disasters, but the Wipro Disaster Recovery Assurance service will attempt to provide reliability of real-time readiness of DR systems and recovery efficiency, through automating processes.
 
The service encompasses both proactive and reactive DR services, aimed at enhancing the operational efficiency of DR systems. Four services offered under the DR Assurance services umbrella, are Pro-Active DR, DR Recovery, DR Drill and DR Continuity.

The DR Assurance service is powered by the Disaster Recovery Management Suite of products from Sanovi Technologies. Wipro has formed this key alliance with Sanovi as part of Sanovi’s DR Cloud partnership program. This program facilitates the “Software as a Service (SaaS)” model.
