Ozone lab opened in Bangalore

By John Daly in Germany @ Tuesday, November 18, 2008 6:57 PM

Wipro Technologies and Oracle have opened a new joint lab in Bangalore. The innovative solutions lab, nonsensically named Ozone to sound smashing, is stationed at Wipro's Electronic City Facility in Bangalore. Ozone has already launched Oracle Application Integration Architecture (AIA) for communications solutions and will allow customers to test Oracle applications, as well as show them new stuff developed by Wipro. Apart from all that, Ozone techs will also jointly develop solutions for human capital management, customer relationship management and supply chain management.

Solutions currently in development include process integration packs (PIPs) based on Oracle's AIA for the communications industry, which Wipro and Oracle are developing and marketing whilst holding hands.

Wipro Technologes senior vice squad president Sangita Singh said “Wipro sees its investment in the Solutions Lab and efforts in building Industry solutions as an effort towards infusing co-innovation in the Oracle ecosystem. We are sure that such collaboration with Oracle will go a long way in helping our customers derive maximum potential from their current and planned IT investments. X
