WNS reported to have won Aviva BPO bid - Deal worth over $200 million

WNS Holdings, a business process outsourcing (BPO) giant, is reported to have won the bid for Aviva’s BPO operations for more than $200m, according to the indiatimes website.

WNS had to overcome competition from rival outsourcing company EXL Services and a global multinational player to win the bid. The deal includes Aviva’s captive unit, outsourced operations parked with vendors, and assured business from Aviva for 5 years.

When the deal is in place, WNS will absorb around 6,500 employees of Aviva’s combined operations in Bangalore, Pune, Noida, Chennai and Colombo.

WNS Global Services is a recognized (BPO) and provides offshore business process outsourcing services. The company’s services include data, voice, and analytical services. X
